The Story and Philosophy of LuxeTek

By Owner & Founder, Paul Hancock:

It is my honest belief that LuxeTek is a genre of products which did not exist until we created it. But how, and why?

As a designer and interior tailor, creating the highest standard of luxury products in the industry has always been my business, but for 'fun'; anything which creates images and/or sound has always been a genuine passion. Whether that was playing in bands or building speakers and amplifiers as a teenager and even obtaining a Masters degree in Industrial Product Design with the sole intention of designing AV and hifi products.

It became inevitable that business and pleasure would eventually cross paths, and the catalyst was the repeated observation that every 'protective' cover for AV, audio, computing and musical equipment were woefully inadequate, looked ‘underwhelming’ and/or were just simply not good enough for anything above utility-grade products.
Owners of elite equipment want to protect it and cherish it, and yet products worthy of the task did not exist.

The ability to literally 'protect' against potential hazards is the bare minimum requirement in any protective cover, and yet all I saw available were ‘dust covers’ which offer protection against nothing other than… Dust.
If a cover was genuinely protective, it utilised cheap materials, and lacked any design, craftsmanship or aesthetic quality, again, not worthy of such equipment.

It is critical to me that LuxeTek are a complete product, ticking every box for the modern discerning owner of high-end equipment and products, whether that be professional or passionate enthusiast.
There are two components to an elite consumer product; Aesthetics and functionality. LuxeTek must also meet these criteria to compliment the equipment they are designed for, and so we won't compromise on either.

When developing LuxeTek, it was essential that these products defend against every main cause of damage: Direct impacts, scratches, spillage of liquids, burns, aerosols and ageing caused by UV exposure and surface abrasion by repeated dusting and cleaning.

No stone was left unturned because I know that many of you are obsessive about taking care of your equipment and, like myself, take immense pride in keeping it as close as possible to 'brand new' condition and protecting the residual value.

The items you own are a reflection of your own principles as a person, and therefore LuxeTek is representative of a mindset and a lifestyle choice. A desire to protect your investments and an appreciation for bespoke craftsmanship.

I acknowledge that when a living space is shared, no matter how beautifully designed a television, audio system or speaker is, it could be considered ugly and inconvenient despite it being a fundamental part of almost every modern home and working environment.
There was a clear niche for a product which integrates your equipment into the scheme of a space, and even elevates the aesthetics of your home or workspace when not in use.

The demand for protective solutions which also looks great, are fully customisable, enhancing your living or work space rather than adding an ugly, unwanted element, while being a niche, was obvious.
No other company, however, has the knowledge and passion for both luxury tailoring and tech to develop a product of this type. LuxeTek sits at the crossroads between technology, and luxury tailoring… And it is a niche we consider to be our own, constantly innovating and moving these products forward.

Not only do we protect individual products but we can create protective solutions for entire racks, cabinets, studio desks etc.
We also provide bespoke storage solutions including desktop, chair-arm, wall and door-hanging as standalone products or to match any protective covers. The goal is to create a consistent, coherent solution for your entire tech ownership experience.

I am so proud to provide these unique and much-needed services to those who demand and appreciate these products.

This is only the very start, we have only just scratched the surface and will be striving to work synergistically with makers of elite tech products to ensure a special experience for the end user.

Thank you for showing passion for what we do, and we look forward to taking you on the journey.
